This Policy explains how we handle personal information and limits our liability. By accessing or
participating in SIP2026, you agree to this Policy and referenced terms.
Provided by you (identity/contact, affiliation/role, submissions/metadata, billing/payment references as
returned by processors, visa-support info); technical (device, IP, logs, cookies); onsite (access/safety
information required by venues or law).
Operate registration/submissions; deliver onsite/virtual sessions; support and communicate; ensure
safety/compliance; meet legal/accounting/tax obligations; improve services (analytics). Minimal attendee
lists/badges may be generated where necessary.
We do not sell personal data. Limited data may be shared with trusted vendors (payment processors, abstract
systems, email/SMS, virtual platforms, printing/badging, venues, publishers) under
confidentiality/data-protection commitments. International transfers may occur as needed to operate SIP2026
or comply with law.
Data is retained only as long as needed for operations, legal/accounting compliance, and archival purposes
(e.g., program records), then deleted or anonymized where feasible.
We apply reasonable technical/organizational measures, but no method is 100% secure. You provide
information and participate at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim
responsibility for unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure.
Our services may use cookies/related technologies for functionality and analytics. You can control cookies

Third parties have their own terms/privacy practices. We do not control or endorse their acts, omissions,
outages, data handling, or security. Use at your own risk.
By attending or joining virtual sessions, you consent to capture and use of your image, voice, name,
affiliation, and contributions for operational/archival/educational/promotional purposes without
compensation. If you cannot consent, avoid recorded areas or disable camera/mic.
You assume all risks of participation and associated processing of your data. To the fullest extent permitted
by law, you release and forever discharge SIP2026/REPA from all claims and covenant not to sue arising out of
or related to the event, except to the extent a waiver is prohibited by law.
All event content, schedules, platforms, and services are provided “as is/available” without any warranties
(express or implied).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SIP2026/REPA and their personnel shall have no responsibility or
liability of any kind for any damages of any nature. Aggregate liability is USD $0 in all cases.
Participants/speakers/authors/sponsors are solely responsible for their content. We do not endorse or assume
ethical responsibility for any statements, materials, or actions of participants or third parties.
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction/object to certain
processing. We will respond consistent with applicable law and our legitimate interests in operating the event.
California law governs; exclusive venue is in California courts. We may update this Policy by posting a
