Official Government-Registered Event
Recognized by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) – Special Events Liaison Unit (SELU)
The 3rd International Conference on Sustainable Innovations and Partnerships (SIP2026) is registered with IRCC’s Special Events Liaison Unit (SELU). This helps Canadian authorities identify legitimate international participants and coordinate event-related visa applications.
Registration with SELU does not guarantee visa approval or expedited processing. Each application is assessed independently by IRCC under Canadian law. Please apply as early as possible.
Special Event Code (Confidential)
The official code will be provided individually to each international participant after successful registration and full payment confirmation.
The code must not be posted publicly (websites, posters, social media) and may not be used to promote the event. It is solely for visa-application identification.
Guidance for International Participants
- You will typically need either a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) or an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to travel to Canada.
- Submit your application online via the IRCC Secure Network; select “Other” as the purpose and reference your SIP2026 participation where prompted.
- After payment verification, you will receive an official invitation letter with instructions. Follow IRCC directions on biometrics, passport submission, and supporting documents.
- Apply early and monitor posted processing times.
Transparency & Participant Privacy
To verify and validate invitation letters and to coordinate visa processing, the SIP2026 Organizing Committee may share limited personal information with IRCC/SELU, such as: full name, passport number, country of passport issuance, and visa application/reference number. This is done solely for event-related immigration coordination and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
